Rose Bowl tailgaters and Rose Parade spectators got a show in the sky Friday morning as a skywriter flew over the famed Pasadena stadium to troll Donald Trump and appeal to Iowa voters.
Several messages were written in the sky during the parade voicing opposition to Trump’s presidential campaign. A trio of anti-Trump sentiments were written out while the Rose Parade was ending, including, “America is great, Trump is disgusting,” taking aim at his campaign phrase, “Make American Great Again!”
Other messages accused him of “hate” and called him a “fascist dictator.” Not coincidentally, the Iowa Republican caucus is Feb. 1.
AnybodybutTrump.us appeared to be behind the act, as the website name was also written several times.
All writing had disappeared well before the teams took the field for warmups.
