Lee Corso made his 300th "HeadGear" pick on ESPN College GameDay - and went with the TCU Horned Frogs.
Corso picked the eighth-ranked Horned Frogs over No. 23 West Virginia in the only game Saturday matching Top 25 teams. The GameDay show was broadcast from the TCU campus.

The "HeadGear" picks started during a 1996 broadcast when Corso put on the Brutus Buckeye head when picking Ohio State to win a game. Going into Saturday, Corso was 196-103 with his picks.
When GameDay was at the TCU-West Virginia game in Morgantown three years ago, Corso picked the Horned Frogs to win that game _ when country music star Brad Paisley, a West Virginia native, was the guest picker for the popular segment. TCU won 31-30.
Another country music star, Tim McGraw, was the guest picker in Fort Worth. McGraw and his wife, Faith Hill, were performing Saturday night in Dallas _ less than 40 miles from the TCU campus. McGraw also went with TCU.
In addition to Corso's 300th "HeadGear" pick, the Washington State flag _ Ol' Crimson _ made its 200th consecutive appearance on GameDay shows out of the studio. That streak started Oct. 4, 2003 when GameDay did its show from Austin, Texas.
