ARKADELPHIA, Ark. (AP) — Henderson State has released its 2013 football schedule, and the slate includes six home games plus the Boomtown Classic versus Arkansas Tech in El Dorado.

The Reddies announced Tuesday that they'll open the season Sept. 7 at home against Southern Nazarene in Arkadelphia, followed by a Sept. 14 home game against McKendree.

Henderson State opens Great American Conference play at Southeastern Oklahoma on Sept. 21.

They close the season at Ouachita Baptist in Arkadelphia on Nov. 16.

The Boomtown Classic is Oct. 19 at El Dorado's Memorial Stadium. The city is planning a weekend full of activities to surround the game.
