MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) — Montana football coach Mick Delaney has named Michael "Torrey" Myers to coach the Grizzly wide receivers.

Myers has been a defensive graduate assistant and quality control coach at the University of Washington since 2008.

Delaney says Myers has experience coaching tight ends, receivers, defensive backs and linebackers. He has been both offensive and defensive coordinator at high schools in New Mexico and Arizona.

Myers played wide receiver at Western New Mexico University from 1997-2001 and was the team's offensive MVP as a senior. He graduated from WNMU in 2002 and received his master's degree in education from the University of Washington.
