Baylor is trying to get bowl eligible for the third consecutive season, which would be a first in team history. The Bears have to win one of their last two games following their upset victory last week over Kansas State, then the No. 1 team in the BCS rankings. Texas Tech has lost three of four, but is already bowl eligible a year after having its streak of 18 consecutive seasons of bowl eligibility snapped.

Baylor WR Terrance Williams is the FBS leader with 151 yards receiving per game. He has 1,518 yards, 145 shy of the Baylor single-season record. His 82 receptions are 26 short of the school record.

Texas Tech: QB Seth Doege took over third place on the Red Raiders' career list when he went over 8,000 total yards in his last game, well behind Graham Harrell (15,793) and Kliff Kingsbury (12,429). He has started 23 consecutive games, and needs 425 yards passing to surpass 4,000 yards for the second year in a row.
