LUBBOCK, Texas (AP) — Police say Texas Tech's starting center was arrested on charges of misdemeanor public intoxication and disorderly conduct after police were called to a bar fight near campus last weekend. Athletic department spokesman Blayne Beal said Wednesday that center Deveric Gallington will play for the No. 18 Red Raiders at TCU on Saturday. No injuries were reported in the fight about 1 a.m. Sunday, just hours after Texas Tech beat then-No. 5 West Virginia 49-14. Gallington, who bonded out of the city jail on Sunday, faces fines of more than $500 on the two misdemeanors. Two other people were arrested at the bar and face similar charges.
