LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — A Penn State journalism teacher who has scheduled a presentation at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln says the scandal and case are far from closed.

Malcolm Moran's presentation is scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m. Friday in Room 15 at UNL's Andersen Hall. His visit is sponsored by UNL's College of Journalism and Mass Communications.

Among other aspects of the scandal, Moran will discuss the independent investigation into the university's actions surrounding accusations of child sexual abuse against former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky. He was convicted in June and has been sentenced to prison.

Moran has held the Knight Chair in Sports Journalism and Society at Penn State's College of Communications since 2006.
