HELENA, Mont. (AP) — Two Montana State athletes are among six players named Big Sky Conference football players of the week for the final week of the regular season. Montana State defensive end Caleb Schreibeis shares the defensive award with two other players while MSU kicker and punter Rory Perez received special teams honors. Schreibeis, a senior from Billings, had a career-high 16 tackles, a sack, 1.5 tackles for a loss and two third-down pass breakups in MSU's 16-7 win at Montana State. He shared the award with Cal Poly linebacker Nick Dzubnar and Northern Colorado defensive back Marcel Gibbons. Perez, a junior from Moreno Valley, Calif., kicked three field goals and an extra point and averaged 43.3 yards on punts in the Bobcats win over the Grizzlies. Eastern Washington quarterback Kyle Padron and Weber State running back C.J. Tuckett shared the offensive player of the week award.
