Jim Harbaugh has fired back at ESPN analyst Paul Finebaum, who said the Michigan coach is cheating by hiring a recruit's father. Perhaps on purpose, Harbaugh referred to Finebaum as Pete, not Paul

The King's Academy, a prep school in California, announced football coach Michael Johnson had resigned for a staff job at Michigan, which had not announced the move as late as Friday morning.

Johnson's son is a highly touted quarterback.

When Harbaugh was in his last season as an NFL quarterback with the San Diego Chargers in 2000, Johnson was his position coach. Johnson was San Francisco's offensive coordinator in 2010, the year before Harbaugh was hired to lead the 49ers.

While Finebaum acknowledged the hiring did not break NCAA rules, he said it was unethical.

Harbaugh responded with a tweet: "Pete Finebaum, the unabashed SEC water carrier, really needs to get his facts straight. #AlternativeFacts."
