JONESBORO, Ark. (AP) — Arkansas State quarterback Ryan Aplin has been named the Sun Belt Conference Offensive Player of the Week.

Aplin was awarded the honor Monday after throwing two touchdown passes and running for another touchdown in Saturday's 45-23 win over Louisiana-Monroe. He completed 26-of-34 pass attempts for 334 yards in the game.

The conference Defensive Player of the Week is Louisiana-Lafayette's Emeka Onyeneku while Troy kicker and punter Will Scott is the Special Teams Player of the Week.
