BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — The Valley City State University football team has ended the season as one of the top 25 NAIA teams in the country.

The Vikings finished the season 7-3 and are ranked No. 24 in the final coaches' poll.

No other team in the Dakotas is ranked. Georgetown of Kentucky is the top-ranked team. The 16-team NAIA playoffs begin Nov. 17.
