KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Tennessee reserve defensive back Deion Bonner has been suspended indefinitely for a violation of team rules. Jimmy Stanton, a school athletic department spokesman, confirmed the suspension Thursday afternoon. Bonner, a freshman from Columbus, Ga., has played seven games without any starts for the Volunteers this season. He hasn't recorded any statistics. Tennessee (4-6, 0-6 Southeastern Conference) will attempt to keep its hopes for bowl eligibility alive Saturday at Vanderbilt (6-4, 4-3).
