Arizona State has a strong connection to the military -- former player and Army Ranger Pat Tillman in particular -- and celebrated it with unique uniforms against Colorado as part of its Salute to Service.
Arizona State's Brotherhood uniforms, designed in collaboration with the Pat Tillman Foundation, featured camouflage and tan jerseys with a large "PT" with 42 on the front to honor Tillman.
The Sun Devils' helmets listed names of former ASU players and coaches who have served in the military on the back, including Tillman, who played in Tempe from 1994-97.
