Kansas State fans who stuck around after a lightning delay of about an hour to watch the Wildcats play lower-level Missouri State were rewarded with a nifty touchdown reception from Byron Pringle.
Already leading 7-0 after a touchdown on their opening possession, the Wildcats needed just three plays to score again. The 19-yard touchdown pass from Jesse Ertz ricocheted off the hands of tight end Dayton Valentine, who was stumbling backward into the end zone, just as Pringle was crossing over him.
Pringle alertly grabbed it out of midair for the touchdown.
