WHAT'S AT STAKE
Arizona tries to keep its hopes for a Pac-12 South title alive. The Wildcats are a game behind Arizona State and a half-game behind UCLA and USC. Arizona plays at Utah, then finishes its regular season at home against the rival Sun Devils. Washington looks for its first win of the season over a ranked team.
Washington's fierce pass rush against Arizona's passing offense. The Huskies rank second nationally in sacks with 38. Senior DE Hau'oli Kikaha leads the nation with 16½ sacks. He also leads the nation in tackles for loss (22½). Washington's plus-10 turnover margin ranks eighth nationally. Arizona freshman QB Anu Solomon is 184 yards shy of 3,000 yards passing. His 25 touchdown passes are four shy of the school single-season record shared by Nick Foles and Willie Tuitama.
PLAYERS TO WATCH
Washington: Kikaha. The Arizona offensive line will have a challenge in trying to stop the big senior, a Bednarik, Butkus and Lombardi Award semifinalist. He left last week's UCLA game with a shoulder stinger but practiced this week and is expected to play.
Arizona: LB Scooby Wright. In addition to possessing one of the best names in football, Wright is a dynamic playmaker. A semifinalist for the Butkus and Lombardi awards, he has been particularly impressive against Pac-12 foe with 73 tackles, 16½ tackles for loss, 10 sacks, five forced fumbles and one fumble recovery in six games.
