Texas' Michael Dickson was named winner of the Ray Guy Award as the nation's top punter Thursday night.
The junior from Sydney, Australia, leads the country with his 48.4-yard average and 44.7-yard net average. He's had 34 punts of more than 50 yards, 14 of more than 60 yards and a career-long 76-yarder against TCU. He has had 32 punts downed inside the 20-yard line and 14 inside the 10.
The award has gone to an Australian five straight years. Previous winners were Utah's Mitch Wishnowsky (2016), Utah's Tom Hackett (2014 and '15) and Memphis' Tom Hornsey (2013).
