Mark Dantonio has a new celebrity fan.
The Michigan State coach has been going back and forth with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson on social media after a ringtone of Johnson singing went off at Dantonio's postgame news conference Saturday at Northwestern.
The song was "You're Welcome" from the animated film "Moana." Reporters often leave their phones up front at news conferences for recording purposes. Dantonio kept his sense of humor after the interruption.

Dantonio and The Rock eventually connected via Twitter, with the actor and former pro wrestler praising Dantonio, and the Michigan State coach responding with what appeared to be an invitation to Spartan Stadium for a game.
Watch closely and for a nano second, Coach D was ready to smile big. Props for staying in the moment. Sing it loud and proud coach! https://t.co/aEoSwlObEi

"My girls told me he tweeted at me _ not that I didn't see that. ... I hit him back today. Who knows? I don't know whose phone that was."
